To launch their Autumn/Winter 2017 retail campaign, Smythson wanted to stand out by implementing a new look and feel for their shop windows.
Luxury leather goods retailer Smythson wanted to implement a new and exciting brand presence using AV in their shop windows. They wanted to roll this out across five of their key stores in London and asked Smart AV to come up with a brand-new concept.
To stand out on the busy shopping streets of London, Smart AV suggested Smythson install a series of 2.8mm LED columns to display their video content, instead of one LED wall. The unique LED installation was rolled out across their Central London stores, with LED columns set into every store window ranging between 3-7 columns per window, depending on the size of the store.
The A/W campaign video content was synced and split across the columns. Some stores also had custom-built arcade machines to display their content.
The 2.8mm LED columns, which varied in size, had a great impact on the launch of the campaign in terms of brand awareness and exposure. The installation was a stand-out campaign across Smython’s London stores.
